As I am getting older I am feeling nostalgic and would like to hook up with people from the past, and find out what they have been up to. I worked at the CYC ( Catholic Youth Center ) Camp up in Northern Minnesota in 1986 it was a blast. Got away from home and had freedom. Met some great people but unfortunately lost track of all of them. I am a 1987 graduate of Roseville Area High School, it was called The West Campus of Roseville Area High my Sr. year. Before it was called Roseville Area it was Alexander Ramsey. I went to Brown Institute in Minneapolis in July of 1987 and graduated with an Associates of Science in Broadcasting. I often wonder if anyone from my class was 787MBD1, is still in radio. I have run in to a couple of friends from there who aren't in radio, Tyler Lloyd (owns his own business) and Cody Livingood, last I know he is doing standup comedy. While attending Brown I Interned at Hot Rockin 104 in the Cities, I have run in to a few of the Jocks from the good old days. I talked with Scott Klone and Michael Cross at the Conclave in 2002 At the time I believe that Klone was in Green Bay, and Cross was at 107.9 Rock 108 in Iowa. I think he is still there. Dave Dworkin is still doing Ghostwriters. Cool thing is I just got an email from Don Anger a guy I used to intern with here and he is now doing overnights at KQRS. From the internship at KJJO I got a real paying job at K63 KDWB am in St. Paul on Radio Drive in Maplewood. Darrin Stone hooked me up with the gig, he was a part-timer at Hot Rockin 104. If i remember right he went on to Richland Center Wisconsin. I started hanging out with the morning guys on 101.3 KDWB and interned then for Humble Billy Hayes and his morning zoo. He then moved to afternoons and I moved with him, If you run across his staff pix from 1988 the leather jacket he is wearing is mine, and I think you can see me in the reflection from his sunglasses.
